Often when looking for a new venue in Los Angeles, with so many great places to have a corporate event the issues can at times be, “what’s the best location for what I need?”

When it comes time to plan a company event, Santa Monica area with its gorgeous and modern scenery and with its nearly always perfect spring and summer temperatures makes for an ideal location.

It’s almost always enjoyable to be able to be near the beach. Who wouldn’t want to be near the ocean with the ability to end the evening with a gorgeous sunset over the coast.

Most of the time you know what you're looking for, you have a good idea of how much space you will need to accommodate the expected number of guests. And you have a bare minimum of the amenities your event will require.

Here’s a look at three new and renovated venue spaces for your corporate event in Santa Monica/Venice area that are available for conferences, meetings, corporate parties, weddings, fundraisers, outdoor functions and business dinners.

1. Guest Room

Housed above the Estate restaurant and along Whilshire and Santa Monica, sits the bar, Guest Room. A new  venue which is accessed by a secret door outside the restaurant's main entrance. 

Opened in October 2015 by the team from the Estate restaurant & bar. This roaring 20's inspired location has colors of chamagne, indigo, deep red, and brown that complements the walls and plush seating. With tungsten lighting that provides a comforting glow. All inspired by Art Deco and modern industrialism.

​This venue holds 90 for receptions, great for private parties.

2. The Georgian Hotel

A hotel of vintage glamour perfect for a vacationer and more importantly for us; the corporate guest. In Santa Monica, The Georgian Hotel has charming event space with their own authentic speakeasy, downstairs.

This orignal boutique hotel has multiple rooms for events, one of them is The Speakeasy. Accommodating up to 90 it was a favorite of classic Hollywood A-listers and is great for social events and receptions.

The Pacific boardroom, designed for meetings of four to eight.

The new remodeled Santa Monica Room​, featuring a boardroom setting, allowing up to 10. And having access to pull down screens and climate control.

​With the largest of the meeting rooms, the Georgain Room, which holds up to 20 conference style, 25 in a classroom setting, 30 round, and 40 theater style. It's nice that they throw in a variety of small and mid-sized corporate functions as well.

3. The Rose

This iconic restaurant, recently reopened in November of 2015 out in a more polished than before, Bohemian area of Venice. Has sizable space and was designed by local arts district company, Studio UNLTD.

With a beer garden, 40 foot bar, coffee bar, and a bakery it will hold up to 250 for receptions. Seats 115 in the dining room and 15 at the chef's table.

This spot is an amazing location to feel the sun and to enjoy some of the art that is continued to be celebrated by the community through collaborations with big name local LA artist.
